Parent Notes:

➢ Please join is in welcoming Eleanor to our class! Eleanor started with the Teddy Bears last week, but it seems the Bumblebee class will be a better fit for her, and we are happy to have her with us.
➢ This week we are introducing two new things: Library and Show & Tell!
➢ On Wednesdays, we will have a short Library time with Mrs. Meyer (Dave Meyer's mother) where she will often discuss an art piece and read a story or two with the children. Occasionally, Mr. Meyer Sr. will do the honors!
➢ For Show & Tell, we will alternate between Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning on Thursday this week. We ask that you and your child work together to select one item, which can be related to the theme and/or letter of each specific week (as listed at the top of these Notes & Highlights pages). This is a great a language and socialization opportunity for the children, and enjoyable for all! This is optional of course, as some are more comfortable with this than others and that is fine.
➢ Thank you to Bennett's mom, Karen Chan, for taking on the responsibility of coordinating the monthly Scholastic Book Club orders! If more parents are interested in volunteering in any capacity with the classroom, please let me know.
➢ Remember our Welcome Back Picnic is this Saturday, September 11th 4-7pm. We hope to see you there!
➢ Questions, comments, concerns? Please feel free to talk to Miss Samantha or Ms. Debbie at drop off/pick up times, or email me at samanthah08@concordialive.com.
