MEYER MINUTES
February 2, 2010

"The value of the object is defined by the purchaser." I listened to a speaker talk about "beauty" and this phrase lingered. My wife Lisa and I were excited to sell our house last spring. We had everything lined up; we knew what we would get and how we would move. As a result nothing happened. I mean nothing. Finally, in August, we decided to take it off the market and commute for the year. A few things have happened since then in our lives so we revisited the discussion last weekend. Low and behold, our realtor called us on Monday and said their new Pastor is looking for a house and liked ours. Our house became valuable because the purchaser is interested and likes our house for his family. I am positive that God has this planned out for us and what ever happens going forward it will be because of His will. Remember we worked it all out last spring and nothing. I think this has a direct reflection for our own lives and for Concordia. Remember who the purchaser is; remember the price that He paid. Jesus gave His life for you and me. Our value is tremendous because the purchaser (God) gave His son for our lives. Concordia is a ministry and in this ministry we are called to continue to share this message and understand that every child is priceless.
